About this Project
The Alabama Dream project was initiated by the Home Builders Association of Alabama and its 10,000+ members in an effort to combat the constant barrage of gloomy news from the national media during this recession. Although certain areas of the country are suffering terribly - most notably California, Michigan, Florida and the northeast - the economy is the state of Alabama is still relatively strong. Real Estate values in other parts of the country have declined, but home ownership in Alabama is still a strong investment. With low interest rates, Economic Stimulus Plan incentives and a good inventory from which to choose, the Alabama Dream of home ownership is still alive and well.
